The Caroline Raspberry's flavor is amazingly flavorful! Vigorous grower produces a large crop and plump raspberries. It's an excellent, productive variety for the East and Midwest. Produces some of the largest, most flavorful, red berries of the fall bearing types. Disease resistant. Hardiness to zone 3. This is a self pollinating variety that ripens in July and harvested in September. This variety bears fruit early. Please note, do not plant red, gold or purple raspberries within 50-75 feet of black raspberries. Black raspberries may be more susceptible to viral diseases carried by aphids to and from nearby raspberry plants.
